ISLAMABAD: Brig (rtd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar replaces Rana Mujahid as the vice president Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) unopposed during elections held in Tokyo (Japan) Friday.Rana Mujahid completed his four-year term in office and is now replaced by Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) president Brig (rtd) Khokhar for the next term in office. Former Pakistan World Cup winning captain Akhtar Rasool who also completed his tenure as AHF Executive Board member is replaced by another Pakistani former player Tahir Zaman.The AHF members appreciated Akhtar Rasool and Rana Mujahid’s role during their tenure and said that two have contributed a lot for the game promotion in the continent.
