LAHORE: The opening day’s matches of the National Open Championship for Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup 2019 couldn't take place due to late night rain and wet outfield. According to Lahore Polo Club Executive Committee member Saqib Khan Khakwani, the same matches will be played today (Wednesday) here at Lahore Polo Club as Master Paints Black and BBJ Pipes will vie against each other in the first match at 2 pm while Diamond Paints/Newage will take Barry's in the second match at 3.30 pm. He said that Master Paints Black team consists of Sufi M Amir, Ahmed Ali Tiwana, Raja Temur Nadeem and Matias Vial Parez while BBJ Pipes team comprises Mumtaz Abbas Niazi, Bilal Haye, Nicolas Croti and Ahmed Zubair Butt.
