LAHORE: Nisar Ali and Muhammad Rashid were the stars in Pakistan blind cricket team’s second win in ODI series against Sri Lanka in Colombo on Friday.According to information available here Pakistan won the 2nd ODI by 6 wickets to take of 2-0 lead in 3- match ODI series at BRC Ground in Colombo. Batting first Sri Lankan batsmen came up with better plans and determination. However, Pakistan bowlers struck early but the 5th wicket stand of 126 runs enabled Sri Lanka to post a good total of 383 for 9 in 40 overs. Chandana Deshpriya played a superb innings of 138.For Pakistan Moshin Khan claimed 2 wickets whereas Badar Munir, Sajid Nawaz, Fakhar Abbas and Ayub Khan claimed a wicket each. Pakistan scored the required runs losing 4 wickets. Pakistan lost 2 wickets at 87 in first power-play overs. Riasat Khan got out after scoring 50. Then Muhammad Rashid and Nisar Ali played aggressively. Rashid got out after scoring 83. Nisra Ali, who was later named the player of the match, played the captain’s knock and remained unbeaten with 121.Pakistan chased the target off 384 runs in just 33.4 overs. Suranga Sampath, Upul Sanjeva and Dimthu Ravindra were the successful bowlers for Sri Lanka. The 3rd ODI of the series will be played on February 25 at Bloomfield Ground Colombo.
