ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) adopts wait and see policy hoping that the situation would get normal for the start of Pakistan leg of PSL IV.A spokesman of PCB confirmed to The News on telephone from Dubai that PCB was closely monitoring the situation starting from Tuesday in wake of prevailing situation.“Our every decision regarding the PSL matches here and in Pakistan would be guided by security agents which is the normal case when it comes to organising to quality sports events anywhere in the world,” spokesman. “We would continue to monitor the situation till the last moment. As of now, there has been no change in our plans that see PSL moving to Pakistan on March 7 when the first match of the last leg is scheduled at the National Stadium Karachi.”Spokesman said: “PCB is very much keeps a close eye on the situation and would decide the matter in accordance with the given advice by those experts who usually give guidelines for such important sporting events.” The News has learnt from well-placed sources that the Board officials are in no mood to take any hasty decision regarding continuing the PSL action in Dubai. The PSL organizers would wait for the last moment before deciding on any change in the already finalised scheduled that ensures eight matches in Pakistan including the final.“As of now, all PSL matches would be held as scheduled earlier. Eight matches are to be played in Pakistan.”
