F-35 'kills' dozens of enemy fighters in AirWar live combat 'scenario' During a recent air-combat Red Flag exercise that included 3,000 personnel from 39 units, including the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Air Force, a 5th generation F-35 stealth fighter was able to 'kill' about 60 enemy fighters using it's long range sensors and weapons. According to Air Force Col. Joshua Wood who was part of the exercise, he had 'never seen anything like it before.'
