KARACHI: Leisure Leagues Under-14 Girls Tournament in which eight government girls secondary school teams are participating commenced here at UP Gymkhana.On the opening day, four matches were played. The match between 10A and 10B ended in a goalless draw.Nida was declared the player of the match.Asma scored a solitary goal to help 9A beat 9B by 1-0. Asma was adjudged the player of the match.In another match, 8A defeated 8B by 2-0 with Iqra Abdul Ghaffar and Umerah Abdul Wahid scoring one goal each. Iqra received the player of the match award.The match between 7A and 7B ended in a goalless draw. Misbah was adjudged the player of the match.The eight teams will play one match against every other team in the small-sided league. The league will run for the next seven weeks.
