KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) recorded wins on the third day of the Inter-Departmental T20 Women Cricket Championship at the Diamond Club Ground in Islamabad on Saturday.In the first game, SBP overwhelmed Higher Education Commission (HEC) by six wickets.SBP achieved the 95-run target in the 15th over after losing four wickets in the process. Sidra Amin top-scored with 33 off 41 balls, having hammered four fours. Iram Javed chipped in with a 23-ball 30, featuring five fours. Lubna Behram got 1-12.Earlier, after being invited to bat first, HEC were restricted to 94-5 with Khadija Chishti making a 31-ball 22 with three hits to the fence. She was ably backed by Saba Nazir who hammered an unbeaten 21 off 38 deliveries. Hafsa Amjad got 2-17.Meanwhile, in the other outing at the same venue, ZTBL crushed PCB XI by 63 runs.Chasing 193, PCB XI were restricted to 129-8 in the allotted 20 overs with Huraina Sajjad scoring a run-a-ball 43 not out, having smacked five fours and one six. Kainat Hafeez made a run-a-ball 20. Bismah Maroof and Fatima Sana got two wickets each.Earlier, after opting to bat first, ZTBL piled up 192-2 with Bismah Maroof hammering a 32-ball 51 not out, striking seven fours. Muneeba Ali chipped in with a brisk 40-ball 51 which featured eight fours. Javeria Khan struck a 29-ball 48 with eight fours and one six. Nida Dar made a 20-ball 34 not out. Bismah was adjudged player of the match.
