NASA accused of sexism after it cancels first women space walk https://ift.tt/eA8V8J Washington, D.C:  National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA) is facing the accusation of propagating sexism after it cancelled first women space walk.Due to unavailability of appropriate sized space suit NASA stalled the walk.Astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch were scheduled to take their spacewalk together on March 29, but the event was dropped by NASA on Monday.According to sources only one space suit could be made available by Friday, 29 March and Koch will wear it, NASA said.The event was cancelled and McClaine was rescheduled to make her space walk on 8th April with a Canadian astronaut David SainT-Jaques.On this action of NASA, some people including U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton were not happy.In her tweet, Hillary urged to “Make another suit”.On the other hand, NASA has denied the accusation of sexism by saying it’s easier to change spacewalkers than adjust a spacesuit.The two female McClaine and Christina Kosh were supposed to make their space walk as first women space walk on March 29.
