KARACHI: Omar Associates and Haseen Habib overcame Shafqat Swaleha and Gold Bridge Media, respectively, in their Southern Zone matches of the National Seniors Cup Cricket Tournament held here over the weekend.According to the details made available by the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA) on Monday, Omar Associates outsmarted Shafqat Swaleha by 108 runs at the TMC Ground while Haseen Habib overpowered Gold Bridge Media by 40 runs at the Naya Nazimabad Stadium.Put into bat, Omar Associates erected an imposing total of 258 for four in the allotted 25 overs. It was largely made possible through a 170-run third-wicket partnership between Iqbal Shaikh (90 off 57 balls) and Imran Javed (64 off 54 balls).
