Modi applies wax, make up before on-screen appearance: says Indian CM https://ift.tt/2tquErD Chief Minister of Indian state of Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy said on Tuesday that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi applies wax and makeup every day before appearing in front of cameras to get a glow on his face that attracts media attention towards him. Kumaraswasmy addressing a campaign rally in Bengluru said: "Narendra Modi, before coming in front of people and camera in the morning does makeup and waxing to get a glow on his face...but in our case, we go out after washing our face and taking a bath in the morning.”He further added: "Look at our faces, in the morning we shower and leave and it is only the next morning that we shower again. Our faces don't look good on camera. Our media friends also don't like showing our faces; they only say Narendra Modi, Narendra Modi."Kumaraswamy stated further that the BJP leaders are not demanding votes for themselves, they are seeking votes for the face of PM Modi.The Lok Sabha elections in India to be held on April 11, 2019 and will go on till May 19.
