KARACHI: Federal Areas, Balochistan and Punjab emerged victorious on the second day of the 8th NBP Disabled Pentangular Cup here at different venues on Tuesday.At the TMC Ground, Federal Areas defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by seven wickets. Federal Areas achieved the 132-run target in 17.1 overs for the loss of three wickets. Hamza Mehmood (53) and Saifullah Khan (51*) scored fine fifties.Earlier, Ali Reza (37) and Kashif Nawaz (238) had enabled KP to post 131-6. Pacer Sher Ali got 2-29. Balochistan defeated KP by seven wickets. KP posted 159-4 thanks to superb fifties from Abdul Jabbar (55) and Nihar Alam (53*). The two added 124 for the third wicket.Balochistan reached the target with five balls to spare after losing three wickets. Adil Abbasi chipped in with a 52-ball 82 not out, hitting six sixes and three fours. Punjab overpowered Sindh by five wickets. Sindh piled up 172-8 with Faisal Hayat making 63 off 48 balls. Waqas Ahmed (3-21) and Sohaib Khan (3-31) bowled well. Punjab achieved the target with three balls to spare after losing five wickets. Wajid Alam belted 47-ball 68.
