LAHORE: There were four upsets out of seven Decent Plate races conducted here at the Lahore Race Club on Sunday.The first three and fifth races of the day were upsets while the remaining four finished in favour of the favourites. The upset making ponies were Chicky Boy, Moazzam Prince, Chota Sayeen and Sayeen Jee while the favourite that lived up to the expectations included Sayaban-e-Bhakkar, Atlantic Ocean and Legacy.In the opening race, Chicky Boy contratry to the expectation won the race while one of the favourites slipped to second place and Zahid Love got the third spot. The second of the day had Moazzam Prince as the winner, which too was an unexpected win while Full Moon was second and Sheba was third.The third upset of the day was drawn by Chota Sayeen when it pushed the favourite Afzaal Choice to second place while On The Spot Win too came up third unbelievably.In the fourth race, the favourites Sayban-e-Bakhar everybody’s attention towards its performance but second placed Dinple and third winner Chan Punjabi surprised all.The fifth race got the fourth upset of the day, with Sayeen Jee saddling to the winning spot while Natalia got second position and Nadaan was third.The sixth race saw the favourite Atlantic Ocean taking the top position while another favourite Khan Jan secured the second place and Timbo was and unexpected third. The seventh and final race of the day had Legacy written as expected the winner while Sea Horse too liked to its billing to be the second and Raksh-e-Qamar surprised by taking the third place.
