KARACHI: Sajjad lifted the men’s singles title of the 12th National Tenpin Bowling Championship which concluded at the Leisure City Bowling Club, Jinnah Park, Rawalpindi, on Sunday.Ijaz-ur-Rehman and Fazil got second and third positions respectively.Col (retd) Naeem Bhatti, Incharge Security Jinnah Park and Muhammad Umar Khan, Sales Manager Islamabad and North Pakistan Turkish Airlines graced closing ceremony.In the men’s singles event Sajad won the title with 450 points while Ijaz secured 399 points to finish second. Fazil wrapped-up his journey at the third spot with an aggregate score of 389 and Mushtaq with 336 points finished fourth.Ali Suria and Afzaal Akhtar ended at the fifth and sixth spots respectively.Ahmed and Ali Suria won the men’s doubles event while Aleem and Robert and Fazil and Lashkar claimed second and third positions, respectively.Babu, Sajjad, Ali and Ahmer got first position in the team event while Aleem, Robert, Fazil and Shabbir got second while Ijaz, Saqib, Sikandar and Afzal secured third position.Fahad won amateur event while Shahrukh got second and Ali Chatta claimed third position.Roshi claimed women singles crown while Noor-ul-Ain and Rozina Ali clinched second and third positions, respectively. Khurram won deaf men’s singles title while Qasim Asad and Nasir Dar claimed second and third position, respectively.Daniyal Ijaz won the under-12 event while Ayzaz Ijaz and Raffay Saqib secured second and third position, respectively. Shah Khan won the inter-media event while Shakir Abbasi and Rizwan secured second and third position, respectively.As many as 100 players from Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Lahore and Peshawar took part in the championship conducted from March 23-30.
